Falls Church Area Football Players Pick up Honors
Several football players earn district and region honors.
The 2012 high school football season is over but some athletes from the Falls Church-area picked up some awards.
Falls Church High finished with the best record amongst the four area high schools at 3-7. Junior wide receiver Jordan Coneys picked up first team All National District and second team All Northern Region honors.
Coneys was joined on the National District’s first team by JEB Stuart High’s Hector Hernandez who earned honors as both an offensive and defensive lineman.

Congrats on your honors, guys. I remember when I was in high school and won various honors. It's a great feeling and in order to keep earning honors and awards and wins on the field, you must work hard in the off season. Don't wait until that first week of camp to get into football shape, get a start on it now and it will pay off in next season. Again, congrats!
