Falls Church Teen Dies From Injuries Sustained in Jan. 2 Crash
Police believe speed may have been a factor in the crash.
An 18-year-old Falls Church man died Friday from injuries sustained in a Jan. 2 car crash.
Carlos Hernandez died at Inova Fairfax Hospital Friday, according to a Fairfax County Police release over the weekend. Hernandez was ejected from the back seat of a 2001 Honda Accord in the 2900 block of Graham Rd. when the driver of the car lost control and hit a tree, according to the release. Police said the driver ran off the road at about 12:40 a.m. Jan. 2.
No charges have been filed and police are continuing to investigate. Detectives from the Crash Reconstruction Unit believe speed may have been one of the causes of the crash.

Did anyone know this young man personally and does anyone know when the funeral will be?

I knew Carlos, he was truly a good person. A funeral date hasn't been set because the family doesn't have the money needed for a proper burial. You can make donations here if you wish- http://www.gofundme.com/Help-For-A-Burial
