Week in Review Feb. 21 – 27
Mustangs stomp through post season, Tuskegee Airman flies in for presentation.
Last week was full of triumph, fun and history in Falls Church. Both the boys and girl’s basketball teams at George Mason High advanced to the Virginia High School League Region B Tournament Wednesday evening at home and won each team won their respective tournament championships over the weekend. Both teams will begin playing for state championships this week.
The City of Falls Church was also visited by famed Tuskegee Airman Col (retired) Charles McGee Friday afternoon. McGee spoke to a room of military history buffs at the Falls Church Community Center.
