I disagree, I don't see it as mocking Jesus. It's a social, somewhat personalized, view of Jesus in Read Morea particular social context. Perhaps you've let your own biases cloud your thinking. When you consider Jesus' standing in his community, he was quite a rebel, and to the religious leaders of his day, probably was considered a gangster. After all, Jesus hung out with gangs. Not only gangs, but gangs composed of people of the most disreputable sort. I don't like the shirt, but I'd hardly call it "anti-Christian". The most annoying thing is that the shirt says that Jesus was the "original" gangster. I find that hard to believe.

Perhaps it was that some had a problem with these kind of statements, none of which seemed veryRead MoreChri stian: Jen March 04, 2014 at 04:51 PM.......... "Yeah. And the swastika is just a symbol." ....or perhaps...... : Jen March 07, 2014 at 04:40 PM "Edda, thanks for playing. Go back to your bong. (Yes, actually we can and should make "the time to tell others what is permissible or not." Example: Putin, Pol Pot, Mao, Stalin, Hitler, Goerring.)"......................................................... .t-shirt you do not like is NOT comparable to Nazis, swastikas, murderous tyrants.......The events/people and the symbols they used to instill terror you are referring to aren't even close to being in the same league as a t-shirt you feel is "offensive"...You are not a "victim" nor are you being "attacked" in any real sense...Using these horrific references with regard to your outrage about an article of clothing is a rather serious disconnect to the REAL losses and ugly acts that the words are connected to. I also find it, as I said before, weird that you'd use offensive statements to other posters while claiming to be offended...Fighting fire with fire is strange....and then you never returned to THAT thread, but it's over here...I can assume you are hoping to involve a different group of posters, see if you get a different response.....You told me "God bless" and I wonder what you really meant by that... I do not think these words mean what you think they mean...or what I was taught they mean....that said, pretty sure how you've responded in the other thread wasn't in accordance with Christ-like behavior, and your approach being far less than civil didn't seem to warm many hearts to seeing your POV or bring anyone to Christ. Other than the "God Bless, Rubberband"....there was no response to any of the posters. It's not with any snarkiness I write this, at all: hope you get what you need posting the t-shirt story here. I hope someone here can lead you to a place where you can answer others and remain civil...Since this Patch is in a town with many churches and spiritual leaders perhaps you will find the voice and support you were wanting.

I live near Little Hunting Creek, and hear gun shots frequently. I generally call 9-1-1, however,Read MoreI believe they are hunters, possibly even neighbors shooting deer in their back yards. If you think it is hunters, you can call the Game Warden.
