Celebrity Designer Donates Purse for Red Cross Auction

October 16,, 2013 – Designer Michael Kors contributed a signed purse for the annual “In the Bag” designer handbag auction to support the American Red Cross in the National Capital Region.  

The autographed purse, normally valued at $1,195, was donated by the Michael Kors store at Tyson’s Galleria.  Launched in 2010, "In the Bag" is an annual charity event to support the American Red Cross in the National Capital Region. On November 1st, 2013, a committee of volunteers will auction donated designer, vintage and celebrity pocketbooks to help fund the vital services provided by American Red Cross in the National Capital Region.
