Complaints of Historic Falls Church House Being Demolished

Advocates wanted the house saved and restored.

One thing about demolishing a house: You can't un-demolish it.

Still, the Falls Church Historic Architectural Review Board is not about to let a fallen house go unnoticed. Last month, it approved a motion stating that the historic “Woodlands House” at 610 Fulton St. was demolished without required permits, according to The Falls Church News-Post.

Preservationists had worked for years to keep the house standing and get it restored.
