Civil War Memorial Stone Ceremony

The Civil War Commemorative Committee of The Falls Church (Anglican) will place a memorial stone to recognize 25 soldiers from the state of New York who were buried in the graveyard of The Falls Church between 1861 and 1864.  The stone bears the name and regiment of each soldier. The ceremony will feature keynote remarks by Major General (ret) Lawrence Flynn, former Adjutant General of New York State and Commanding General of the New York State National Guard. Period music will be played by a brass quintet and the names of the soldiers will be read. The public is welcome to the ceremony.
