Falls Church Farmer’s Market Amongst Best in U.S.

National website highlights farmer's market in Falls Church as a destination for fresh food.

The Falls Church Farmer’s Market has been named one of the best in the country, according to Rodale.com.

Editors from the website polled managers from farmer’s markets nationwide to come up with their list. According to Rodale.com, the farmer’s market in Falls Church, “was selected for its tasty, high-quality seafood.”

"One of the things that really attracts a lot of people is a gentleman who brings freshly made crab cakes with Maryland and Virginia crabs," the website quoted Falls Church Farmer’s Market Manager as saying. "He sells out of those pretty much every week."

The market is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon during the warmer months and 9 a.m. to noon in the fall and winter.
