Holidays Won’t Disrupt Falls Church Trash Pickup

Christmas trees will be picked up every Wednesday in January and February.

While Falls Church residents are enjoying the holiday season, the city has offered these trash pickup tips to help you out:

  • Trash collection will go on as scheduled on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2. Residents are encouraged to have their items out before 7 a.m. to ensure their items are picked up.
  • Crews will pick up Christmas trees for free in the city every Wednesday in January and February as long as residents have them five feet from other trash and make sure all ornaments and tinsel is removed. Residents in condominiums or apartments should use the Fairfax County Transfer Station for self-disposal.
