Orange Line Delays Between West and East Falls Church Stations
Repairs to tracks expected to be done by midday.
The Orange Line is single tracking between West Falls Church and East Falls Church stations until midday, according to a release on Metro’s website.
The delays are due to unscheduled track repairs outside the West Falls Church station.
According to Metro, personnel discovered damaged signal equipment on the outbound track that needed to be repaired before trains could operate through the area. Preliminary findings suggest the damage is related to overnight testing associated with the Silver Line.
