Rodeo Team Rounds up Fourth Place in Competition

Water wranglers finish in the middle of the pack amongst seven teams.

The tapping team from Falls Church Water captured fourth place out of seven teams in last week’s American Water Works Associations Utility Rodeo in Virginia Beach.

“This year the event was great,” said Robert Goff, director of operations for the Department of Environmental Services for the City of Falls Church. “We had several newer employees get involved with the event. By doing so they all gained valuable knowledge of the water industry.”

Goff along with Josh Goff, Joe Cassell, Steve Schumann and Shawn Walters attended the three-day event that ended with the competition. Josh Goff finished sixth in the Splish Splash event while team newcomer Cassell finished fourth out of 20 in the new Meter Madness event.
