Tip of the week:
Before Groupon, there was (and still is) Restaurant.com, which sells non-expiring coupons to area restaurants. Typically, you can buy a $25 gift certificate for $10 as well as other denominations. Even better, every other week or so they’ll offer a 50-80% additional discount. Through Wednesday July 13, enter promo code “SUN” and you’ll get 80% off the already discounted rate. In other words, a $25 voucher can be purchased for $2! Load up now and be sure to sign up for their email club to get notice of future sales. As with all of the deals I post, be sure to check the fine print though as there is usually a minimum purchase and other restrictions.
