Ready for the weekend? It's almost here! Here's a sampling of some Falls Church and beyond doings to get you out and about and having fun.

Farmer's Market: 8 a.m. to noon, City Hall Parking Lot, 300 Park Ave. See you there!

The State Theater: Retro 70s Dance Party with Right On Band: Get your groove on Saturday night from 9 p.m. to midnight at The State Theater, where the doors will open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door.

Feeling creative? Stop by Clay Cafe Studios and create your own special plate, mug or other ceramic object. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and Noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.

Still feeling creative? Head over to Beadazzled, at 444 West Broad St., where they'll teach you how to make earrings, necklaces and more at their classes.

Bowl America, 140 S. Maple Ave.: Try "Cosmic Bowling"...the lights go out. The pins light up. The music blasts. Lasers beam around the room. It’s Cosmic Bowling, the most novel way to have fun in the entertainment galaxy! And you can find it at a Bowl America. For more information call (703) 534-1370.
