Disney's High School Musical

Traveling Spotlight Productions brings Disney Channel's smash hit movie musical, High School Musical, to life via
“Dessert Theatre” at the James Lee Community Center! Troy, and Gabriella and the students of East High must deal with issues of first love, friends, and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities.

While on a New Year’s Eve vacation, high school basketball team captain and resident jock Troy and brainy Gabriella
(Maddie Assel) – two teens who are worlds apart – meet.  During a karaoke contest they discover their love for singing and an interest in each other.  After vacation, Troy finds out that Gabriella is the new girl at his school, East High.  Troy & Gabriella decide to audition for the upcoming high school musical.  Troy’s best friend Chad (Tyler Lazzari) and Gabriella’s new friend Taylor (Taylor Dacosta) discourage them from moving forward with their plans.  But it’s Ryan (Michael Golder) and his sister Sharpay (Paige Taylor), considered the school’s top theatrical talents, who really try to thwart their efforts.  Join the Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes, as everyone tries to deal with the threat to the “status quo”.  Will Troy and Gabriella’s alliance open doors for others to shine as well?

High School Musical is fun for the whole family!
