P. Buckley Moss Releases 'Virginia is for Lovers'
The Virginia Tourism Corporation granted Moss the honor of painting their award-winning slogan.

If you're an art-lover and are looking for a Saturday outing, this might be up your alley.
Virginia's world-renowned artist P. Buckley Moss will release a very special painting on Saturday.
In honor of her 80th birthday, the Virginia Tourism Corporation invited Moss to portray the state's award winning tourism slogan. "Virginia is for Lovers" by Moss is a limited edition giclee.
Moss will be at Framecraft in Warrenton from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. to meet guests and sign her artwork. Framecraft, 64 Main St., is an authorized dealer of P. Buckley Moss art.
The Virginia State Travel Service -- now the Virginia Tourism Corporation -- adopted "Virginia is for Lovers" in 1969. The slogan was coined by the Richmond based advertising agency Martin & Woltz Inc. Forbes.com named "Virginia is for Lovers" as one of the top ten tourism marketing campaigns of all time.
