"MiXeD uP" Art Exhibit Ends Sunday
Local artist work on display at ArtSpace Falls Church.
Falls Church Arts "MiXeD uP" show of mixed media runs through Nov. 13th.
The winner of "Best in Show" Marc Robarge for his "Tree Man" is the IB art teacher at . His piece is actually made using his head and shoulders to make a mold and then create the highly textured and colorful "Tree Man".
"First Place" winner, Ellie Flaherty, won for her entry "Tree Memories" which is a mixed media piece with fabric, twigs, etc. in bright reds and sewn appliques.
