Spend your weekend checking out two different holiday craft shows, a holiday ornament party, a children's holiday shop, a Legwarmers concert and a Stifel & Capra visiting artist!

Holiday Craft Show and Children's Holiday Shop: Head to the City of Falls Church Community Center for this Holiday Craft Show featuring the works of more than 60 crafters including unique handmade items and baked goods. Children’s activities on Saturday include lunch with Santa, a performance from The Great Zucchini and the Children’s Holiday Shop at Cherry Hill Farmhouse where volunteers will be on hand to help children make their inexpensive holiday purchases and wrap their gifts.

McLean Holiday Crafts Show: Don't miss the 30th annual holiday craft show at McLean Community Center featuring the works of more than 70 fine artists from across the nation including Harmony Light Candles, Desk Essentials by Laurie, Meg Wear Fine Art Jewelry and Uncommon Knits. Enjoy musical ensembles and delicious snacks courtesy of La Madeleine all weekend long.

Visiting Artist at Stifel & Capra: Sandra Hill: In the Alcove Gallery on Stifel & Capra’s second floor this month is Sandra Hill, an award-winning artist working primarily in watercolors and acrylics. Recently she has been creating abstract collages and has won several awards for her work in this genre. Sandra teaches watercolor through the Arlington Artists Academy. Stop by and see Sandra's artwork.

Artisans United Holiday Ornament Party: Bring the entire family to the Craft Gallery of Artisans United holiday ornament-making party. All materials are provided and are safe for children to use. The tree and ornaments will be donated to Shelter House. There will also be a demonstration of bead-weaving snowflakes and working with stained glass. Treats will be served.
