Celebrate beautiful autumn weather this weekend with the Little City's Fall Festival and Taste of Falls Church, a brand new chef demonstration at the farmers market, a book reading, a neighborhood 5K and a visiting artist.

September Visiting Artist Donna Byrne at Stifel & Capra: Award-winning artist Donna Byrne works primarily with acrylic on canvas. She often paints pieces in a series and is currently working on “Floral Abstractions” and “Looking In” series. Her inspiration comes from abstract expressionist such as Kandinsky, Rothko and Klee.

Falls Church Farmers Market Chef Demonstration with Bonnie Moore Culinary Director of Willowsford: The Falls Church Farmers Market presents this chef demonstration featuring Willowsford’s Bonnie Moore. The chef will prepare two to three dishes over a two-hour period, answers questions and makes modifications as suggested by participants. Tastings and recipes are available throughout the morning.

Taste of Falls Church at the Fall Festival: Don't miss the Taste of Falls Church this Saturday! Participating restaurants include Argia's, Clare and Don's Beach Shack, Pizzeria Orso, Sfizi Cafe, Mad Fox Brewing Company, Dogwood Tavern, Flippin' Pizza and many more! Run for the Schools 5K: The USATF Certified 5K course winds through the tree-lined streets the Little City with a mix of hills and flat stretches. There will be great prizes for winners in eight different age categories and team categories including fastest team and largest team.
