Dolcezza Gelato Opens in Mosaic District Saturday

Dolcezza, a gelato shop and coffee bar, is opening in the Mosaic District Saturday. This is Deolcezza’s first location in Virginia, Eater.com reported.
Dolcezzo will offer 16 flavors of gelato for its opening and more flavors once the warm weather comes. The coffee bar will offer Verve coffee and pastries.
As part of Dolcezza’s grand opening in Virginia, customers can get a free mini cone from 2 – 5 p.m. Saturday at the Mosaic District shop. The Mosaic District is near Merrifield, at 2910 District Ave., Fairfax, just west of Gallows Road.

According to Dolcezzo’s website, “Our philosophy is simple: Be curious. Be spontaneous. Play with your food. Support local farmers and make exquisite gelato.”
Taylor Gourmet Deli opened in the Mosaic District earlier this year. The Mosaic District is a new development with nearly three dozen retailers already open or set to open later this spring.
