Falls Church Boxing Club Offers Free Week of Classes to Furloughed

Federal shutdown got you down? Feel like hitting something? Why not box away your furlough frustrations at a local Falls Church business? A local company is offering a (free) chance to do just that.

"In an effort to help displaced workers, the TITLE Boxing Club of Falls Church is offering any federal employees that have been affected by the government shutdown a way to relieve some of their stress and frustration with the offer to work out free of charge," a company spokeswoman told Patch this week.

·         1 month free membership dues for any current members

According to TITLE Boxing Club, the club offers a high-energy, intense workout called the Power Hour which allows participants to burn up to 1,000 calories during the hourlong class.
