Falls Church Loving Hut Named Among DCist's Top Vegan Restaurants
Falls Church restaurant is named one of DCist's best vegan restaurants in D.C.
DCist recently named Falls Church-area restaurant Loving Hut to its list of best vegan restaurants in the D.C. area.
Loving Hut is part of an international chain of 120 restaurants, 43 of them are in the U.S. According to its website, Loving Hut is the largest chain of vegan restaurants in the world.
Each city has a unique vegan menu that reflects the culture of their city, according to Loving Hut. Falls Church's menu leans towards Vietnamese cuisine, but also offers burgers and other sandwiches.
"My favorite dishes have all been noodle soups, especially when ordered off of their specials board; the broths are very flavorful and they give you a ton of veggies, noodles and tofu to soak up the flavor," DCist writer Lynne Venart said in her nomination. "They also have some guilty pleasures like the deep fried wontons (so bad for you, but so good!)."
