Inova Fairfax Medical Campus Wins Honors, Again
Inova Fairfax Medical Campus wins top regional honors from U.S. News & World Report.
The no. 1 hospital in the D.C. metro area is right here in our backyard: The Inova Fairfax Medical Campus has been named the top hospital in the region and the second-best hospital in Virginia, according to rankings from U.S. News & World Report.
This is the third year straight that Inova Fairfax has been named the best hospital in the D.C. metro area.
In addition, the hospital is ranked no. 33 in the country for gynecology and 42nd in the country for neonatology.
The hospital is continuing construction on its planned expansion, which broke ground in 2010. The $850 million construction project includes new facilities for women and children, a new garage and more. The project should be completed by 2016 (learn more about it here).
The second-ranked hospital in the D.C. metro area is MedStar Washington Medical Center in the District, followed by MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital. See the complete regional rankings here and national rankings here.
