UPDATE: Power Back on at Mosaic Center, Angelika Movie Theater

UPDATE 7 p.m.: The power appears to be back on at the Mosaic shopping center Friday night in Merrifield. 

Angelika Movie Theater just sent out this message after 6 p.m. Friday: No fear - power is back on! We're not open just yet, though. Gotta prep. Sooooooon!

UPDATE 3:30 p.m.: It appears that power is still out at Mosaic District. A call placed to Angelika movie theater didn't go through. On social media, the theater says it looked as if power would be back on tonight:

Angelika Mosaic @AngelikaMosaic4hOh no! Our whole building has lost power, and it's not expected to come back on until sometime this evening. We're closed for the time being

If you were thinking of grabbing lunch and a movie at the Mosaic District today in Merrifield, better call first.

According to Mosaic District, several businesses there are without power Friday morning.

A tweet sent out via Twitter Friday morning, at 11:30 a.m. by Mosaic District reads: 

Learned from @DomVAPower that section including Angelika, Matchbox & Cyclone is currently without power.

Angelika is the movie theater at Mosaic. Matchbox serves up pizza and Cyclone dishes out Mexican fare.

Be sure to call ahead if you'd planned on going to one of these venues.
