The holiday is approaching fast.

  1. The deadline for the storm water survey mailed to every City single-family home is today. Instructions for completing the paper or online versions of the survey are included in the mailing. Respondents will need the individual Real Property Code provided in the letter in order to complete either version of the survey.
  2. George Mason High boy’s varsity basketball team take on Central-Woodstock at 7:45 p.m. at Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School.
  3. On this day in 1989, U.S. troops invade Panama and oust Manuel Noriega, but didn’t catch him.
  4. On this day in 2005, New York City union members shut down subway and bus services for three days.
  5. If today is your birthday, you share it with singer David Cook (29-years-old) and singer JoJo (21-years-old). Happy birthday!
