- Join in the discussion about the Affordable Housing Policy proposed revisions. A community forum at 7 p.m. in the TLC Room of George Mason High School.
- City residents who plan to vote in the Tuesday, March 6 Republican Presidential Primary are reminded to vote in the ward printed on their current Voter Registration Card. The ward changes the Council adopted should be in effect for the May 1 Municipal Election. Voters who need help determining their polling place should contact the City’s Office of Voter Registration and Elections.
- On this day in 1968, the National Advisory Commission on Civil Disorders (Kerner Comm) reports against racism and demands aid given to blacks.
- On this day in 1972, Hank Aaron becomes first baseball player to sign for $200,000 a year.
- If today is your birthday, you share it with entertainer Jeff “Ja Rule” Atkins (36-years-old) and actress Dinah Shore (96-years-old). Happy birthday!
