Happy Monday!

  1. City residents who plan to vote in the Tuesday, March 6 Republican Presidential Primary are reminded to vote in the ward printed on their current Voter Registration Card. The ward changes the Council adopted should be in effect for the May 1 Municipal Election. Voters who need help determining their polling place should contact the City’s Office of Voter Registration and Elections
  2. City council will hold a work session at City Hall at 7:30 p.m. in the Dogwood Room.
  3. On this day in 1964, Atlanta Mayor Ivan Allen, Jr., announced a baseball team is moving there (Atlanta Braves).
  4. On this day in 1994, the largest milkshake ever was made in South Africa using 1,955 gallons of chocolate ice cream.
  5. If today is your birthday, you share it with actress Eva Mendes (38-years-old) and the late singer Teena Marie (56-years-old). Happy birthday!
