- A special Veterans Day Ceremony will be held at the Falls Church City Veterans Memorial in front of the Community Center at 11 a.m. Friday. Local veterans Maj. General Richard Sherlock and Air Force Brigadier General Lyn Sherlock will offer remarks. A remembrance for MIAs and a wreath presentation and prayer for departed veterans will also be part of the ceremony.
