The weekend is almost here.

  1. The City of Falls Church parking enforcement officers will ticket cars without decals properly posted on front windshields. Residents are reminded that all cars, trucks, and motorcycles normally garaged within the City must be registered and clearly display a city decal.
  2. Library Story Hour for kids ages 2 to 5-years-old at the Mary Riley Styles Library at 10:30 a.m.
  3. On this day in 1973, President Richard Nixon tells AP "...people have got to know whether or not their President is a crook. Well, I'm not a crook."
  4. On this day in 2010, a construction site in London reveals a Roman settlement filled with ancient artifacts and human remains.
  5. If today is your birthday, you share it with actor Danny DeVito (67-years-old) and baseball great Tom Seaver (67-years-old). Happy birthday!
