Five Things You Need to Know Today: Nov. 22

  1. Vehicle decals must be posted properly on the front window of vehicles next to the inspection sticker. City of Falls Church parking enforcement officers will ticket cars without decals properly posted on front windshields. Residents are reminded that all cars, trucks, and motorcycles normally garaged within the City must be registered and clearly display a city decal.
  2. Library Story Hour for kids ages 18 to 36-months-old at the Mary Riley Styles Library at 10:30 a.m.
  3. On this day in 1963, Lyndon Baines Johnson sworn in as 36th U.S. president after the assassination of John F. Kennedy.
  4. On this day in 1972, the U.S. ends 22-year travel ban to China.
  5. If today is your birthday, you share it with tennis great Billie Jean King (68-years-old) and the late comedian Rodney Dangerfield (90-years-old). Happy birthday!
