  4. On this day in 2000, Al Gore wins the popular vote but loses the electoral vote to George W. Bush.
  5. If today is your birthday, you share it with evangelist Billy Graham (93-years-old) and twin actors Jason and Jeremy London (39-years-old). Happy birthday!
