Week in Review

What a power packed week.

There was a lot of news in and around Falls Church last week but maybe none bigger than the last United States troops in Iraq . Sunday morning, the last of the troops rolled out of Iraq and into Kuwait.

The City of Falls Church was successful in from five to three. City Council voted to approve the move that will go into effect in March.

During a school board meeting last week, Dr. Gloria Guba announced she will be retiring at the end of the school year and school board chair Patrick Riccards announced he will be leaving his position to work full time as CEO of the nonprofit education advocacy group ConnCAN.
