Mayor Nader Baroukh and his fiancé Bernadette Fancuberta announced that they were Dec. 29 during a trip to Hawaii. A wedding has not been set.

George Mason High girl’s basketball star Stephanie Cheney became the school’s breaking a 12-year record held by Kate Jackson.

Creative Cauldron kicked off their multicultural performance series Friday. The series includes 21 performances representing various cultures from around the world.

Falls Church City Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Toni Jones revealed her for the school system. This is the first proposed budget for Jones who joined FCCPS in July.
