How Did Falls Church Vote for Virginia Governor? A Precinct-by-Precinct Look

Falls Church sees high turnout at its precincts.

Virginia elected Terry McAuliffe governor Tuesday, giving him 47.74 percent of the vote to Ken Cuccinelli's 45.28 percent and Robert Sarvis' 6.52 percent.

McAuliffe beat Cuccinelli by 54,689 votes.

In all, Falls Church gave 3,516 votes (71.29%) to McAuliffe, 1,141 to Cuccinelli (23.13%) and 251 votes (5.09%) to Sarvis. Falls Church has a history of voting for Democrats and it probably didn't hurt that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stopped by to stump for McAuliffe.
