League of Women Voters, VPIS to Sponsor City of Falls Church Candidate Forum

All five candidates for Falls Church City Council have confirmed their participation.

The League of Women Voters of Falls Church and Village Improvement and Preservation Society will sponsor a non-partisan forum for the candidates for the Falls Church City Council at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

All five candidates for City Council have confirmed their participation. Marybeth D. Connelly, Robert M. LaJeunesse, Karen R. Oliver, David F. Snyder, and Daniel X. “Dan” Sze will all participate in Wednesday's forum.

This election marks the first time City Council candidates will be on the same ballot as candidates for Virginia legislative districts and statewide races in Virginia. The forum will be moderated by Marjorie Hobart of the League of Women Voters of Arlington Council. Candidates will be asked to address randomly selected questions on current issues, and audience members will be able to ask questions.
