In the late stage of Alzheimer’s disease, caregiving typically involves new ways of connecting and interacting with the person with the disease. Join us for this 2-part series and hear from caregivers and professionals about resources, monitoring care and providing meaningful connection for the person with late-stage Alzheimer’s and their families. Topics covered will include:

• Symptoms and care needs associated with the late stage of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias
• Understanding the concept of the self in the late stage of the disease
• Effective ways to communicate, connect with and provide daily care in the late stage of the disease
• Late-stage care options and ways to access and evaluate them
• Providing an optimal end of life experience
