Artist Sandi Parker will be the featured artist
for August showing a collection of her seascape oil paintings throughout the
month. "In my impressionistic seascapes and boat paintings, I strive,
through the use of color, to create  serene moods and tranquil settings .
I use rich blues and turquoises for the water and pastels for boats and
sails.  I love the beach and no summer is complete for me without a visit
to an ocean.  I try to capture in my paintings the joy I
feel in this setting." Sandi will also hold a special, one day
trunk show of her SandiSea Designs Jewelry on Saturday, August 17.
