animals in need and children showing their talents & skills.
Our THIRD annual Crafty Kids Fundraiser is on Sunday September 28, 2014 - 1-4 PM Save the date!
BENEFICIARY 2014 event is : Rescue AWOL MUTTS of Falls Church, VA, founder Sonia Franceski. AWOL Mutts
is a small group of volunteers who work with military families to help
rehome their beloved animal companions or finding and rehoming dogs who
have slipped through the cracks of deployment and ended up in shelters.
It will be an afternoon of fun games and activities for dogs and kids,
table sales of baking and crafting to raise donations for homeless,
neglected, disabled dogs or service dogs. Expect a full program of live
entertainment, crafting, painting and playing for a reason, dog
agility demo and do-it-yourself, dogs for adoption, a raffle, Dog
massage, Pet First Aid, and much more. From 1-4 PM children with the
support of the community will work and play to bring together funds for
a very deserving non-profit animal organization.
