Join Yoga Teacher Trainer and Therapist Jacci Reynolds for a short lecture and experience of movement, breath and meditation beneficial to chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia, headaches, osteoarthrities, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, multiple sclerosis and Parkinsons.

This workshop is based on the Tantra Hatha Yoga philosophy and practices to understand chronic pain and suffering. We will work on understanding ourselves and our conditions better from a new perspective to create a new relationship with our bodies and minds. We will discuss and practice creating nonjudgmental, compassionate acceptance of our thoughts, emotions and physical sensations as they occur during practice by cultivating the witness without getting caught up in our "story."

Current findings in the field of pain science are showing how we can change our relationship with our body through the relationship with our mind and nervous system. In this therapeutic workshop, we’ll explore a practice to create nervous system balance, resilience and an increased tolerance to sensation.
Jacci regularly sees clients for yoga therapy who experience some form of day-to-day pain and has found a number of techniques help her clients to manage what they are experiencing. She looks forward to sharing this information with Dream Yoga teachers and students.
