Falls Church to Host Holiday Gift and Craft Show

Santa, magician, holiday shop and more set for Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8.

We know Thanksgiving isn't even here yet but as soon as those turkey leftovers are stowed away, thoughts will wander to the holiday season.

You can deck the halls this holiday season with special gifts from the City’s Holiday Gift & Craft Show. It's set from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8., more than 50 vendors will take over both floors of the Falls Church Community Center (223 Little Falls St.) to sell unique handmade items, baked goods and more.

An All-Weekend Shopping Pass is $1 per person, ages 12 and older; admission is free for children under age 12. Lunch is available for purchase both days.

The Holiday Gift & Craft Show provides many special activities for children. Louis the Magician will be on hand to delight and amaze on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 9 a.m.; reservation required, $5 per person. Santa invites kids of all ages to enjoy a lunch sponsored by Chil-fil-A at one of two seatings, 11:30 a.m. or 1 p.m.; reservations required, $6 per person. Children can also visit the Holiday Shop at the Cherry Hill Farmhouse (312 Park Ave.) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., where volunteers will help them purchase and wrap inexpensive gifts ($6 and under) for friends and family.
