Brought my 2001 Honda CRV immediately to Loehmann's Sunoco 10/23/13 when my check engine light lit up on my way to work. Mr. Mehran thought it might be the distributor, did an evap leak, smoke test, ignition system b/c...codes indicated engine misfire, Finally told me the valves were leaking - it would cost about $2500 to fix or he could get me a low milage engine for about $3,000. I decided not to go that route, but to take my car to my regular mechanic...Sunoco had done an oil change and including the diagnosis they charged me $155. As I was leaving the Sunoco, Mr. Mehran offered to buy my car...he'd give me a better price than the dealership....Hmmmm...

My mechanic diagnosed tight valve - it had moved up into the head...he repaired it for $300. I'd never been to the Sunoco before, but I'm very glad I didn't go with their diagnosis....My car is now running fine...
