Bicycle Theft at West Falls Church Metro
Only two crimes were reported at Falls Church area Metro stations in June.
Metro Transit Police responded to more than 600 calls in the month of June, according to the most recent police blotter. The following are incidents that occurred at or near area Metro stops in our area.
West Falls Church
- A bicycle was reported stolen at 7:40 p.m. June 26.
- A summons was issued to a person who failed to pay for their Metro trip at 7:08 p.m. June 27.
There were no reported incidents involving Metro’s transit police at the East Falls Church or Dunn Loring stations in July.

In all of 2011, there were 19 crimes reported at West Falls Church, 14 at East Falls Church and 14 at Dunn Loring.
The vast majority of crimes at Metro stations system-wide in 2011 were larcenies and robberies.
