City of Falls Church Crime Report for April 3 - April 8

Police charged three with possession of marijuana.

Jason A. Clough, 36, of Wingina, Va. and Jason G. Compton, 36, of Richmond, were charged with possession of marijuana in the 300 block of W. Broad St. on April 4.

City of Falls Church Police are investigating a report of a set of chef’s knives stolen in the 100 block of W. Broad St. on April 6.

Hung Q. Mai, 54, of no fixed address, was charged with public drunkenness in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd. on April 6.

City of Falls Church Police are investigating a report of graffiti in the 100 block of Park Ave. on April 6.

Jeffrey N. Gearheart, 19, of Falls Church, was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute in the 300 block of W. Broad St. on April 7.

Jose Reynaldo-Cruz, 24, of Falls Church, was charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness in the 6600 block of Wilson Blvd. on April 7.

City of Falls Church Police are investigating a report of a burglary in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd. on April 7.

On April 7, an unknown Hispanic male subject followed two pedestrians to the store after a traffic altercation.  The subject grabbed the victim’s bicycle while the victim was holding on.  The bicycle received damage and the victim sustained minor injuries.  The suspect fled the area in a red Toyota four-door sedan.

Mario L. Reyes Mejia, 23, of Cheverly, Md., was charged with driving under the influence in the 1100 block of S. Washington St. on April 8.

Alexander T. Williams, 21, of Falls Church, was charged with possession of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle with an open container of alcohol in the 200 block of S. Washington St. on April 8.

Luis G. Canenguez de Paz, 27, of Alexandria, was charged with driving under the influence and Ever Benitez, 25, of Alexandria, a passenger in the vehicle, was charged with possession of marijuana in the 900 block of Hillwood Ave. on April 8.
