City of Falls Church Crime Report for Aug. 9 - Aug. 15

Charles Edward Still, 23, of Arlington, was charged with possession of marijuana on Aug. 9 in the 100 block of S. Washington St.

Nam Hoai Chau, 52, of Fairfax, was charged with gambling and Trung Nmn Tat, 31, of Silver Spring, Md., was charged with trespassing on Aug. 11 in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd.

Ha Ngoc Nguyen, 42, of Springfield, was charged with possession of alcoholic beverages on premises without a license on Aug. 11 in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd.

Loc Van Ta, 39, of Hyattsville, Md., Binh Kim Huynh, 28, of Woodbridge and Binh Dai Tran, 32, Duc Minh Phan, 37 and Quoc Cong Dang Nguyen, 40, all of Annandale, were all charged with illegal gambling on Aug. 11 in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd.

Trai Quoc Nguyen, 51, of Herndon and Cuong Quoc Cao, 44, of Silver Spring, were charged with illegal gambling on Aug. 11 in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd.

Stone Kim Huynh, 77, and Binh Trong Luong, 41, both of Falls Church, and Minh-Thuy Glang Hoang, 55, of Alexandria and Lam Van Phan, 36, both of Annandale, were charged with illegal gambling on Aug. 11 in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd.

Trung T. Pham, 32, of Sterling, Quang Luu, 40, of Falls Church, Jack Hoang, 39, of Silver Spring, Md., Tin Hai Huynh, 32, of Burke and Quang Van Pham, 43, of Fairfax, were all charged with illegal gambling on Aug. 11 in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd.

Thao Thi Ngoc To, 64, of Falls Church, was charged with possession of alcoholic beverages on premises without a license on Aug. 11 in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd.

Vinh Cong Pham, 57, of Falls Church, was charged with allowing gambling on the premises of the business and permitting smoking within the business on Aug. 11 in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd.

Lorraine Lan Khanh Nguyen, 22, of Springfield, was charged with failure to pay city cigarette tax and failure to post occupant load on Aug. 11 in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd.

Douglas Burkel, 44, of no fixed address, was charged with drinking in public on Aug. 12 near the intersection of W. Broad Street and N. Virginia Avenue.

City of Falls Church Police are investigating the theft of a secured bicycle from underground parking garage in the 400 block of S. Maple Ave. on Aug. 11.

Christopher Nixon, 37, of Falls Church, was charged with felony breaking and entering and grand larceny on Aug. 14 on the 400 block of S. Washington St.

City of Falls Church Police are investigating the theft of an iPad 2 and a laptop from an unsecured vehicle on Aug. 15 in the 500 block of Greenwich St.

City of Falls Church Police are looking for a man who drove off without paying for gas on Aug. 15 in the 100 block of Hillwood Ave. The alleged suspect is described as black male approximately 25 - 30 years of age, medium build with dread locks wearing a white t-shirt and gray sweat pants and driving a black SUV with Washington, D.C. tags.
