City of Falls Church Crime Report for June 7 - 13

City of Falls Church Police are investigating a burglary that happened June 7 in the 500 block of Roosevelt Blvd. The alleged suspect, a black male wearing dark colored clothes possibly with a close shaved or bald head, fled with a stolen bicycle from the residence.

Michael Coleman, 23, of the City of Falls Church, was charged with malicious wounding in the 200 block of S. Washington St. on June 7.

Josue A. Crespo-Gomez, 21, of Arlington, was charged with assault and battery and drunk in public in the 200 block of S. Washington St. on June 7.

City of Falls Church Police are investigating a report of a stolen vehicle in the 100 block of Haycock Rd. on June 7. The car was recovered in Suitland, Md. on June 10.

City of Falls Church Police are investigating the theft of several lawn grooming tools from a vehicle in the 400 block of S. Maple St. on June 7.

City of Falls Church Police are investigating a reported case of auto tampering in the 100 block of Birch St. on June 7.

Vincent F. Surface, 45, of Centreville, was charged with public drunkenness in the 100 block of W. Broad St. on June 7.

Joseph E. Murphy, 49, of Ft. Washington, Md., was charged with possession of marijuana in the 300 block of Park Ave. on June 11.

City of Falls Church Police are investigating a report of a business that received a counterfeit $100 bill. The alleged suspect is described as a Hispanic male, at least 5 feet 10 inches and about 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing jeans, a light blue shirt and glasses.

Elmer S. Vargas, 37, of Annandale, was charged with public drunkenness in the 900 block of W. Broad St. on June 11.

City of Falls Church Police are investigating a report of items stolen from a home in the 300 block of S. Virginia Ave. on June 12. The items allegedly stolen on June 7.

City of Falls Church Police are investigating a report of a fight inside a business in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd. on June 13 that resulted in the breaking of a glass window.
