City of Falls Church Crime Report Jan. 11 – Jan. 17

Several thefts in the city from last week are being investigated.

- City of Falls Church Police is investigating five stolen car batteries from Yat Herb’s Auto Repair, 802 S. Washington St. The batteries were stolen between 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 10 and 8:39 a.m. Jan. 11.

- Police are investigating the theft of two 52-inch televisions from Knowlogy, 105 W. Broad St. Police said the televisions were taken between 8:30 p.m. Jan. 10 and 6:30 a.m. Jan. 11.

- Hung Anh Du, 49, of Falls Church, was arrested Jan. 12 and charged with smoking in a non-designated area at Café Le Mirage (6757 Wilson Blvd.). Café manager Son Thanh Dang, 35, of Springfield, was given a citation for letting Du smoke there.

- A computer was stolen from the Mary Riley Styles Public Library between 1:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 11.

- An iPod Touch was stolen from a car in the parking lot in the 1100 block of W. Broad St. between 6:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 12.

- Police are looking for the people responsible for writing graffiti on a stop sign at 400 S. Maple St. just after midnight on Jan. 13.

- Police are looking for the people who spray-painted the Tax Analysts building in the 400 block of S. Maple St. at about 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 13. A car parked outside the building was later spray painted at about 3:30 p.m.

- Dao Thi Le, 43, of Gaithersburg, Md. was arrested for driving under the influence on Jan. 15.

- Darryl Steven Tarrance, 48, of Washington, D.C., was arrested for being drink in public on Jan. 17.
