Dog Involved in Falls Church Attack on the Loose

Police are looking for the dog and its owners after incident Friday.

Falls Church Police are looking for a dog that bit a person Friday afternoon, along with the two men who were allegedly with the animal.

Police said the dog bit an unidentified person around 4 p.m. on the playground at the Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. The two men allegedly allowed the dog, believed to be a Pit Bull Terrier or similar looking dog, to run free without a leash, police said.

Police said the men left the area with the dog, refusing to give any information to the victim.

The dog is described as black and white, mostly white, medium-sized with short hair.

Anyone with any information about the dog or its owners is asked to contact the police at 703-241-5050.

The owner seems to be a careless animal too, just like his pet. Owners like this should be seriously punished since they can eventually cause death.

So two men (?) brought a pitt bull terrier, or similar dog that obviously is aggressive seeing that it bit them also(?), to an elementary school, off leash, on a Friday afternoon. That is crazy and dangerous. Lucky we are not reading about a child recovering in a hospital.

Was it confirmed the dog was in fact a pit bull?

If the above is true, then why is The City Of Falls Church Police still claiming the dog hasn't been found on Sunday?
