Dog Involved in Falls Church Attack on the Loose

Police are looking for the dog and its owners after incident Friday.

Falls Church Police are looking for a dog that bit a person Friday afternoon, along with the two men who were allegedly with the animal.

Police said the dog bit an unidentified person around 4 p.m. on the playground at the Thomas Jefferson Elementary School. The two men allegedly allowed the dog, believed to be a Pit Bull Terrier or similar looking dog, to run free without a leash, police said.

Police said the men left the area with the dog, refusing to give any information to the victim.

The dog is described as black and white, mostly white, medium-sized with short hair.
