Falls Church City Crime Report: March 8-14

Bruce Richardson, 55, of no fixed address, was arrested in the 1000 block of E. Broad St. on March 8 for panhandling.

Douglas Frederick Burkel, 43, of no fixed address, was arrested in the 100 block of S. Washington St. on March 9 for drinking in public.

Patrick William Rasche, 38, of Arlington, was arrested in the 300 block of E. Broad St. on March 9 for driving under the influence.

Alexander Jacob Stanton, 25, of Virginia Beach and William Baxter Sims, Jr., 26, of Norfolk, were arrested in the 200 block of Washington St. on March 10 for possession of marijuana.

Abraham H. Barahona Mejia, 20, of the City of Falls Church, was arrested in the 100 block of Chanel Ter. on March 11 for underage possession of alcohol.

Mathew Walker Simpson, 40, of Chevy Chase, Md., was arrested in the 100 block of E. Broad St. on March 11 for driving under the influence.

Todd Casey-Holyoke Bailey, 33, of Washington, D.C., was arrested in the 700 block of W. Broad St. on March 11 for driving under the influence.

James Antonio Lassiter, 25, of Arlington, was arrested in the 700 block of W. Broad St. on March 11 for possession of marijuana.

City of Falls Church Police are investigating the theft of a GPS unit from a vehicle in the 200 block of Kent St. on March 11. The suspects smashed the driver’s side window to gain access to the vehicle.

James L. Tate, III, 55, of no fixed address, was arrested in the 1100 block of W. Broad St. on March 12 for shoplifting.

Shane Edward Mason, 28, of Sterling, was arrested in the 100 block of N. Washington St. on March 12 for driving under the influence.

Trinh Thi Thuy Nguyen, 27, of Alexandria, was arrested in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd. on March 12 for smoking in a non-designated area.

Duy An Vu Le, 36, of Laurel, Md., was arrested in the 6700 block of Wilson Blvd. on March 12 for smoking in a non-designated area.

Wuilinston E. Maldonado Vasquez, 31, of Falls Church, was arrested in the 900 block of W. Broad St. on March 13 for urinating in public.
