Falls Church Man Arrested for Threatening to 'Damage a Building'

Also, Annandale woman arrested for possession of cocaine and marijuana.

The following are some of the most recent crimes in Falls Church, as reported by the City of Falls Church, from May 19 - 25.

Narcotic Violation, 500 block W. Broad St. On May 19, a 24-year-old woman from Annandale was arrested and released on summons for Possession of Marijuana.

Narcotic Violation, 100 block S. Washington St. On May 20, a 24-year-old woman from Annandale, was arrested for Possession of Cocaine.

Larceny from Building, 803 W. Broad St. #400 (National Massage Therapy Institute) On May 20, police received a report a wallet was stolen from an unattended purse.

Threats to Damage Building, 400 block S. Maple Ave. On May 22, a 51-year-old man from the City of Falls Church, made threats to damage a building. After investigation, he was later arrested.

Driving Under the Influence, 200 block Hillwood Ave. On May 23, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation.  The driver, of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.

Smoking Violation, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #52 (Café Dang) On May 23, a Springfield man was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Larceny from Building, 700 block Timber Ln. On May 23, a bicycle was reported stolen from a residence.

Smoking Violation, 6795 Wilson Blvd. #2 (Café Dang) On May 24, a Washington, DC resident was cited for Smoking In a Non-Designated Area.

Domestic Assault, 500 block S. Spring St. On Apr. 24, a 49 year old male of the City of Falls Church, was arrested for Assaulting a Family Member.

Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test, 100 block E. Broad St. On May 24, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation.  The driver, a 50 year old male of Falls Church, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and Refusal to Submit to a Blood or Breath Test.

Larceny from Motor Vehicle, 105 W. Broad St. On May 25, clothing was reported stolen from a vehicle.

Driving Under the Influence, 100 block E. Annandale Rd. On May 25, an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation.  The driver, a 32-year-old man of Temple Hills, MD, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
