Police Confident Stabbing was an Isolated Situation

Falls Church Police are still investigating the May 14 attack near the W & OD Trail.

It’s been a week since a man was stabbed near the W & OD Trail in Falls Church, and police are still looking the alleged suspect.

Police say the stabbing was an isolated case and have increased foot, bicycle and motorcycle patrols at the intersection of Grove Ave. and the trail. Monday, people walked and biked through the area as if nothing ever happened in the area.

“That’s crazy that somebody got stabbed over here,” said Peter Clark of Arlington who stopped biking where the stabbing took place for a rest Monday afternoon.
