UPDATE: Missing Elderly Man Found, According to Falls Church Officials

Elderly man missing after doctor's appointment.

UPDATE, Thursday, 12:20 p.m.: The missing person alert issued Wednesday, Jan. 14, has been canceled, according to City of Falls Church officials, who issued a release Thursday at 11:48 a.m. 

The missing man, 89-year-old George Moore, is at home and in good health. No other details were released.

City of Falls Church Police Department asks for the public's help in locating a missing senior citizen.

George Nathaniel Moore, age 89, was reported missing from Kaiser Permanente (200 block of N. Washington St./Lee Highway) after a doctor's visit at noon Wednesday (Jan. 15).

He was last seen wearing an ivory-colored sweater with thin red and black stripes, a black knit skull cap, brown pants, and black shoes. He was possibly carrying a blue sweatshirt. Moore is a black male, about 5'10", about 140 pounds, and has gray and black short hair. He suffers from dementia and memory loss.
